Yabitsu Pass
Everytime I go to the Miyagase Dam, I take the same road 64. This time the way back will be on the Yabisu Pass. Surprisingly, this is a thiny road. Most of the time, this one car wide with many curves. You follow some small and cold river. The only way to stop by is to enter a picnic place. About 500¥~1000¥ for a car with extra ~600¥ per person to get to enter.
But if you look for it, you can find some free places. Harder to access, you will also find less people and more peaceful atmosphere. The problem with such places, some people don't get used to bring back their own trash.
This is definitely a pleasant drive. Slow life and plenty of nature.
Sunset
Winter sky is awesome. I just repeat myself. I may become crazy lately. My work is taking me a lot of energy. Usually, to get such a sky, you may have to wait a while. After rains, after a typhoon. When the sky is clean from dust, humidity or/and pollution. During winter, it is everyday.
Aikawa Park
Good advice has to be followed. After the Miyagase Dam, the Aikawa park. It is a pretty amazing park with full of games. Tganks again for the tip. I should make a top 5 of the parks around. Atsugi is a good place for family. After one year here, just no regret.
Miyagase Dam

Miyagase,
Noel
We went to the Myagase Dam to have a look to the Christmas illumination. We got there by noon so it let us enough time to enjoy the park and the shops around. Many food available in this small village. The bright sun, blue sky and fall atmosphere were awesome. The place was crowded but nothing compare to the night. From 5pm the illumination starts, until 11pm. There are a lot, a lot of loghts with different kind of events : Dance or Comedy performance, train ride around the christmas tree, picture with Santa... A lot of fun in the air.

Kids are sleeping so we are about to leave when we start hearing some samba beats. What a surprise to not only see musicians. So much cute dancers in such freezing weather, almost unbelievable. Latin big beats definitely warm up people.
